From 28.2.2022 a new Erasmus+ Project "Naturalistic Instruction: Exploding and Transferring Evidence-Based Strategies for Early Childhood Inclusion Professionals" has started. The project is coordinated by Anadolu University (Eskesehir, Türkiye) and lead by Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Diken.

 

The project aims to transfer existing knowlegde and resources in Early Childhood Intervention, mainly about responsive, empathic, .e. naturalistic teaching in the context of children with developmental difficulties and theier parents.

 

3 intellectual outcomes will be available in the course of the project duration (2022-2024)

 

1) an Inclusion Competence Generator (ICG) as an information base to learn about educational requirments and strategies of naturalistic instructions for children with developmental difficulties (children with cerebral palsy, autism, hearing/visual delays, intellectual difficulties, ADHS etc.)

 

2) an Inclusion Practice Exchange (IPE) as a practice tool (mainly based on instructional videos) to increase the awareness and sklills of professionals and parents while playing and instructing their children.

 

3) an Inclusion Competence Platform (ICP) which represents a self guided learning platform for the professionals including a certificate.

 

5 countries participate in the projects (Türkiye, North-Macedonia, Austria, Germany and Hungary).

 

Outcomes and dissemination (www.naturalisticteaching.com) will be available in Turkish, Macedonian, German and Hungarian.
